Iranian short film ‘Passenger to Fukushima’ has been screened at the International Folklore Film Festival (IFFF) in India.

Masoumeh Nour-Mohammadi’s latest directorial experience represented Iran at the special Iranian cinema section of the 5th edition of the event.

The first days of 2011 were the bitterest winter in Japan; when a magnitude 10.0 earthquake shook the east of the country and sent violent waves to the shores of the Pacific Ocean.

The documentary pictures real stories and shots from this disaster, taken by Iranian journalist, Afshin Valinejad.

The IFFF hosts folklore-based short and documentary films from around the world.

The 2022 edition of the event launched on January 1-5.
